The Hitachi 0.3T Airis II Open MRI is a low-field MRI system designed with a focus on patient comfort, cost-efficiency, and versatility. Featuring a 0.3 Tesla permanent magnet, this MRI system is renowned for its open, panoramic design that allows for greater patient accessibility, making it particularly well-suited for individuals who may feel anxious in traditional closed MRI systems or for patients who require extra space. The open design not only enhances patient comfort but also provides flexibility for positioning, making the machine ideal for imaging young children, elderly patients, or those with physical challenges.

The Hitachi Airis II is equipped with several notable features, including a 15 mT/m gradient strength and a 30 T/m/s slew rate, which help achieve clear and consistent image quality despite the lower magnetic field strength. It supports a wide variety of pulse sequences such as Fast Spin Echo (FSE), Angiography, and DICOM capabilities, making it versatile enough for neurological, musculoskeletal, and whole-body imaging. The Airis II also comes with multiple surface coils, including coils for the head, neck, knee, and extremities, which further expand its clinical applicability. This system provides whole-body imaging with special configurations to handle different anatomical requirements, helping to deliver high-quality images for general diagnostics and specific health conditions.
