The Siemens Volume Access CT is an entry-level multi-slice CT scanner that offers 1-10 slices per rotation. Volume Access provides high-quality imaging with cost-efficient features, thus making it a good choice for clinics and hospitals needing reliable CT scanning capability but not requiring advanced or high-slice systems.

The Siemens Volume Access CT features multi-slice imaging, which raises the speed and precision of diagnostic tests in emergency or routine examinations. It will manage different clinical applications ranging from cardiovascular, neurologic, and musculoskeletal to low-dose capabilities that are important for scanning in order to minimize radiation exposure to the patient.

To further this, Siemens has integrated user-friendly software and design features into the scanner, such as SureView reconstruction algorithms, to ease workflow by offering fast reconstructions of images without compromise in image quality. This enables high throughput of patients without losing clarity on diagnostics.

It is often used in smaller hospitals, clinics, or outpatient settings where advanced imaging technologies are necessary, but large-scale, high-slice CT systems are not required.
